Tittelen gjorde meg nysgjerrig, og en rask titt på første side gjorde at boken fikk bli med hjem. En gammel mann i et ukjent land blir vitne til et mord, tar ansvar for å redde et barn - eller er han dement? Premisset er interessant nok, og i tillegg kom "twisten" med at det hele skjer i Norge. Miller har skapt en sammensatt skikkelse i Sheldon, og det funker bra nok når det hoppes litt fram og tilbake i tid/virkelighet. Alt i alt er det greit driv, men med en avslutning som ble litt tannløs midt i dramatikken. Blir nok dessverre lett glemt når jeg skal anbefale lettlest og grei krim...

I don't know how, I don't know why. Just don't look at their head. Look at the feet, make your approach, get the knife in. Head forward, not back. never let him know you're there. If you want him dead, make him dead. Don't negotiate with him. He's likely to disagree.
