This novel is briefly gourgeous.
It's poetic, heartbreaking, tender, awful, fragmented.....(and sometimes boring)

In this début novel the poet tells a story of surviving violence.
The novel is written as a letter from a son to a mother who cannot read. Written when the speaker, Little Dog, is in his late twenties.

The novel is semi-autobiographical and speaks solemnly to his experiences as an immigrant and a gay man.

Boka kom på norsk i 2020: På jorda er vi glimtvis vakre.
