Denne boka virka tålig bra utifrå kva som sto bak på coveret. Det er eit framifrå eksempel på at ein ikkje skal tru alt ein leser. Eg har ingen problem med at historie, sanning og fysiske lover blir tøyd litt i fiksjon, men det må gjerast med ein viss eleganse og finesse slik at det blir nokonlunde truverdig i historien sitt univers. Den einaste slike elegansen ein finn i "Seven Ancient Wonders" er i den nevnte omtalen på baksida.
I tillegg er boka verken spennande, morsom, engasjerande eller tankevekkjande.
Det einaste eg sat att med når eg var ferdig med den var anger. Eg kunne brukt tida på så mykje anna fornuftig!
