"Is it only terrorism if it's a non-state actor?
If someone's sitting inside a room of suits and can press a button and terrorize thousands of people and murder innocent people with no consequences, how is that not terrorism?"

"I used to come here to say protect my people from war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Now I come to call from protection from genocide."
- Riyad Mansour, 15 desember 2023.
Alt skal bombes, tenker jeg. All infrastruktur skal ødelegges.
Takk for svar.
"We often said at that time if the world knew - if it had witnessed our pain, if it had seen an entire people being killed and uprooted it would have never allowed it to happen, we were so wrong."
- Riyad Mansour, 2023.
"At a certain point in every Palestinian's life, we realize that the Nakba is far from over. It continues every time Israel revokes Jerusalem residencies, it blares in street signs stripped of Arabic. It punctures us in constant campaigns of dehumanization. If you're not evicted from your home, it's demolished; if you're not imprisoned, you're shot in the street; if you're not shot in the street, there's a drone in your sky in the Gaza Strip; if it's not a bomb, it's exile."
- Mohammed El-Kurd, 2021.
"Being outside of Palestine, being away from it all, hurts even more because you see your people being killed and starved and brutalized and slaughtered, and you can't do anything about it. And the people around you are justifying that slaughter."
- Omar Suleiman.

"Our Palestinian casualties, are always your footnotes. The daily humiliation of occupation ignored. The aggression by settlers and soldiers alike on holy sites and souls. The annihilation of entire families that follows. The devastation of whatever scraps remain in the open air prison of Gaza. Unsustainable and inhumane. So if you're waking up to a sudden interest in the region and want to know what's been happening, dig a bit deeper than two weeks and try to read beyond the headlines of a media that has been dehumanizing us for decades."

"People in Gaza marched to the wall in what was one of the most inspiring protests or demonstrations that I had ever seen.
Marched to the wall, non-violent protest, and snipers took out their legs."

"If you have failed to see our humanity, we have not failed to see your hypocrisy."
- Dr. Omar Suleiman, 14 januar 2024.
Takk, for svar.
"If I must die
let it bring hope"
If I must die
If I must die,
you must live
to tell my story
to sell my tings
to buy a piece of cloth
and som strings,
(make it white with a long tail)
so that a child, somewhere in Gaza
while looking heaven in the eye
awaiting his dad who left in a blaze-
and bid no one farwell
not even to his flesh
not even to himself-
sees the kite, my kite you made, flying up
above
and thinks for a moment a angel is there
bringing back love
If I must die
let it bring hope
let it be a tale
"We work throughout all this hurt, all of this pain.
What comforts us and make it possible for us is you all, in your protests, in your sit-ins, with your voices."

(Siden 7 oktober har over 100 journalister blitt drept i Gaza.)
