Hva hvis Mulan var en skredder? Maia utgir seg for å være broren sin for å konkurrere om å bli den nye keiserinnens skredder. Dette er bok to av en duologi og det er mye å like ved denne boken, spesielt for de som liker bøker med type trials og utfordringer med store konsekvenser om det går galt. Eneste nedsiden med boken er at jeg synes det burde blitt brukt mer tid på hver enkelt oppgave - ting som skulle vært umulig går nesten for fort her selv med magi. Slutten ble annerledes enn jeg forventet, så jeg er absolutt nysgjerrig på neste bok.
