Hello,
Sorry I'm not writing in Norwegian.
We are building a startup that will help books to be translated into Norwegian and other Scandinavian languages.
Can anyone tell me is here in Norway a shortage of translated foreign writers' books?
I don't mean to ask if there is enough translated foreign writers' to read. What I want to ask are there books that you would like to read in your native tongue but they are not translated?
Thank you for your answers.
Good day,
Aurimas

Past experiences have shown that there is a sensitivity among the users of this forum when it comes to commercial parties using bokelskere.no to further their own commercial interests, especially when threads are started by someone with no prior activity on the forum. Would you be so kind as to provide us with some details clarifying the intentions motivating your request?

I will not deny that we have some commercial interest in this venture. As one should not expect for someone else to work without any adequate form of compensation.
But we will not be the only ones that benefit if this venture succeed. It will bring tremendous benefit to Norwegian and later Scandinavian book enthusiasts. I very well know how much more pleasing reading could be if one's book is in the native tongue.
I'm not going to spam or sabotage this forum in any way. All I want is to get some feedback from the people that this idea is going to be made for.
Thank You for Your consideration.
