Drivende og frampå frå start til slutt. Før boka har etablert seg, er den berre spennende og særleg kreativ. Berre å glede seg til meir frå forfattaren, ditte er bra sakar.

Science fiction meets "Lord of the flies". I was at first a but dubious to this book as the opening scene was a bit long and tedious, but as the story progresses we soon understand that it is deliberately written this way. The results are that we can relate quite closely to the main character. With a first person narrative and detailed descriptions about emotions, thoughts and surroundings it allows for the reader to actually be in the story. I cannot place this book in a specific category. At first I thought it was a YA novel, but it is way too gory for that. I rather think it may be a thriller/sci-fi. In any case, the story is building up nicely and the small details and hints that are left in order for the reader to draw his/her own conclusions are enticing. A good read and masterfully done. I think Scott Sigler is my new favorite novel.
