beklager for engelsk men her er det jeg har skrevet om boken på goddreads:
Midnights by Rainbow Rowell. (4/5)
very cute but not the best shortstory. I didn't feel like it contained all the things a shortstory should though, so not giving this full score.
The Lady in the Fox by Kelly Link. (5/5)
Magical. I love it. some sentences seemed ouf of place but everything else was great. reminded me more of a traditinal short story. (like the ones we had to read in school.)
Angels in the Snow by Matt De La Peña (2/5)
I didn't like the main character or the story very much.
Polaris is where You'll Find Me by Jenny Han (3.5 /5)
I loved the premiss of the story but it was so very short.
It's a Yule Time Miracle, Charlie Brown by Stephanie Perkins (4.5/5)
And Stephanie Perkins shows yet again why I love her writing so much. <3
Your Temporary Santa by David Levithan (3/5)
I felt like this was just mehh. the romance was sort of confusing to me with the guy going all 'I'm undressing in your room while you sleep...', but I loved the parts with the sisters. though the part with the older sister should be a bit more conclusive as it was too open.
Krampuslauf by Holly Black (5/5)
I really liked this one. So magical and so much going on. It worked well as a short story, and the end was conclusive enough to make it work.
What the Hell have you dine, Sophie Ruth? by Gayle Forman (3.5/5)
it had both parts that I loved and disliked. we all have those moments when you have to ask yourself wtf did I do that for the description of some of the characters where sometimes rasist and I disliked that. we are all human..
Beer Buckets and Baby Jesus by Myra McEntire (1/5)
This had so many elements that I just dont like to read about. I like some of the topics by themselves but it is not what i look for in a novel nor sæa short story. male perspective, christianity displayed weirdly, bad explanations, weird boyfriend that is not boyfriend but.., civil war reenactments. (Basically: too americanizied for my liking)
Welcome to Christmas, CA by Kiersten White (5/5)
Soo christmasy and nice. loved how it included the story of the whole "town". Loved the writing so I have to check out the author now.
Star of Bethlehem by Alle Carter (3/5)
Leave the first 18 pages, cut out the cowboy comments and one day falling in love romance, make the ending realistic and you've got yourself a beautiful short story. It should have been about aunt Mary and Lidya. This was just okay..
The Girl Who Woke the Dreamer by Laini Taylor (5/5)
I feel like I just read a whole, very lovely, very magical book. I love Laini Taylor's writing!
total = 3.7 / 5 stars
