Omtale fra forlaget
Lieutenant General (retired) Wilhelm Mohr is one of the most influential officers in the history of the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) - and in recent years has often and rightfully been described as 'the grand old man of the RNoAF'. For years he has been reluctant to emphasize his own role in WWII or his service in the RNoAF, neither on a personal level through a biography, nor in other written works. He decided early on not to write a book about his own experiences in WWII. However, he has written a number of articles and lectures on the war. Thus, the aim of this book is to provide a publication that adequately covers the writings on WWII by Lieutenant General (r) Wilhelm Mohr. By summarizing his thoughts, this book hopes not only to contribute to expanding the understanding of the man and his influence during WWII, but also to provide knowledge of and insight into perhaps the most fascinating part of RNoAF history.
