In 1933, he ( Albert Einstein) appeared with Charlie Chaplin at a movie premiere. When they were mobbed by autograph seekers Einstein asked Chaplin, “What does this mean?” Chaplin replied
“Nothing, absolutely nothing.” Then he said, “They cheer me because everyone understands me. They cheer you because no one understands you.”
