After all, apartheid was a local abomination, posing no threat to
anyone outside South Africa,
aiming no nuclear weapons or tanks in the heart of Western Europe,
nor did it attempt to export its immoral ideology.

Imagine Nelson Mandela being asked, “How do you feel about
'apartheid with a human face'?”
Would he be criticized, like Bukovsky was, by people who say,
“You suffered too much from apartheid,
of course you can’t be objective.”
