Mange finner lesergleden først på ungdomsskolen, og når de skal videre til videregående skole, får jeg ikke lenger fortalt dem om alle de fine bøkene der ute som de bør prøve å få lest i årene som kommer. Få av bøkene på denne listen vil overraske, men det bør være noe for en hver her. Det er litt tilfeldig hva som er lagt inn av norske og engelske utgaver, og bøkene er så pass ulike at de slettes ikke vil passe alle.
